Hi everyone! I'm here to share some exciting news! After spending a little over a year as an in house graphic designer at an independent publishing house, I will be leaving to focus on freelancing! For those who know me, it will come as no surprise that I am balancing this with a career in personal training. I've spent the last several months avidly studying to bring this lifestyle change to fruition, and I am so excited to say that it has paid off. I will be beginning as a trainer at a gym here in Chicago at the beginning of October. In the mean time I'll be creating several new promotion pieces such as these above, as well as beginning work on picture book dummies and samples for a few manuscripts I've written during this past several months! I also have a few other exciting collaborations in the works that will be leading to more opportunities in the coming months that I can't wait to share with you all! I'm so looking forward to all of the great things to come as I make this big shift to focus on what I spent so much time in school for. I'm sure there will be struggles and rough times, but as many illustrators have proved before, anything is possible with hard work and determination! So until my next update, best wishes!
